Allow me to introduce myself:- I have been teaching Modern Jive for over 8 years now. 13 years ago I started Line Dancing because I could dance without a partner. I then heard about Modern Jive 10 years ago and started classes, which I loved because I could ask anyone to dance.  Within 6 months I was asked to help on stage as a demonstrator then later trained by Le Jive of London to teach and run the venue.

I was approached by Brian my late business partner in 2002, and asked to help him start a class in Walkden where we had both grown up. I agreed and together we built Learn 2 jive (Barnside) to what it is today. 3 successful venues, freestyle nights and tuition workshops.

Sadly Brian is no longer with us but I intend to carry on the good work with the help of his partner Glynis.

I am always available to assist anyone with problems and love being asked to dance, so don't be afraid to ask
